Welcome To Healing Thoughts!

As an alternative healthcare practitioner and healer, I believe that many illnesses, injuries, and emotional issues can be alleviated or eradicated if we give ourselves permission to understand how we function physically, mentally, spiritually, and emotionally. When we address our internal messages consciously and honestly, we can heal ourselves, mitigating or eliminating our need for prescription medications and trips to the doctor. Healing Thoughts examines what "self care" means and explores ways in which we can care for ourselves, from simply shifting our perspective on our experiences to cultivating practices to actively nurture our well being.

For example, I have studied various massage modalities, Spiritual Plant Healing, herbal medicine, aromatherapy, intuitive healing, Transformational Breathing, and dance and movement because they nourish my body, mind, heart and spirit. I also delight in everyday activities like painting, long walks, relaxing baths, making (and eating) beautiful, delicious food, and I love reading the ideas of experts on personal growth and healthcare because these pursuits feed my soul. Furthermore, I appreciate the times when I struggle and am confronted with difficulties and my shadows because they, too, contain important lessons for me to learn. As a result, I have been impacted by many ideas and experiences regarding how we live in our bodies and how we approach taking care of our "Selves".

The goal of Healing Thoughts is to present ideas that inspire and challenge you to either start, or continue, to explore the concept of self care for yourself to rediscover and celebrate the beautiful, intriguing, multi-faceted individual you are.
